Goodwood – Festival of Speed 2007

Once again, the Falken Boys proved popular at this Festival of Speed. They arrived on the Friday, fully equipped to offer the general public something more than just good looks, charm and expert knowledge of the tyre market.

Goody bags and free prize draw entries attracted the masses whilst the sun was shining. Then, when the heavens opened it was our bus that reeled them in, with its promise of free hot drinks and sweeties. But no amount of charm and good looks could compete with the theatricality of a race-tuned engine being revved to it’s limits and when the crowds needed coaxing back to the Falken stand, the exhaust note on our Nissan 200SX Drift car worked like a turbo charged charm.

By the end of the weekend, the Falken team had collected over 600 entries for our competition, over £700 for the Naomi House Childrens Hospice and consumed about 30 chicken and mushroom pies…each!

Overall, this weekends Goodwood festival was a massive success, not just in itself, but also for the Falken brand which enjoyed plenty of exposure. The hats and t-shirts were hugely popular particularly as all proceeds are off to our charity, and by the end of the weekend people could be seen all over Goodwood wearing the highly coveted Falken branded merchandise.
