Falken Tyres goes to Max Power Live

Falken Tyres attended Max Power Live at the NEC earlier this month. The show was to be the “Fastest, loudest car show ever” and it lived up to it.

Inside the halls were filled with stands and bursting with customised cars. Outside was the Speed Arena where people could watch the cars in action.

The Falken stand looked amazing and really stood out, it was constantly busy and felt as though every person who visited the show came to the stand. The Falken girls were drawing in the crowds by giving people signed posters and having their photograph taken. The Playstation game GT4, that features the Falken Skyline, was constantly in use and had queues of people waiting to play.

A computer was set up with the Falken website running, this was used extensively by people using the dealer locator function to look up their local Falken dealer.

The Team Falken GB Nissan 200SX also helped to pull in the crowds and continuously had people snapping photographs of it and taking away posters of the car, a DVD of the 200SX drifting shown on a huge plasma screen demonstrated what the car looked like in action. A competition to spend a day on the racetrack learning how to drift in the Falken Nissan proved to be a very enticing contest and got more than a thousand entries.

At quieter moments a heaving crowd of people was instantly drawn back to the Falken stand by giving out some freebies. Falken T-shirts and caps were thrown into the crowd causing what seemed like every visitor of the show to come to the stand at the same time! Masses of T-shirts, caps, key rings, lanyards, stickers, magnets and product brochures were given away.

The people visiting the show seemed genuinely interested in Falken and wanted to know more about the tyres. The mixture of a fantastic looking stand, the girls, the game, the freebies and the car drew in thousands of people who now know much more about Falken tyres.
