The big yellow bus was taken on yet another outing this summer, this time branded up with Falken and visiting the prestigious Festival of Speed at Goodwood.
The three day festival represents everything fast and high-speed. It is not just the famous hill climb, the very best in competition cars throughout history are all displayed and experienced as they rocket past onlookers, star drivers from several eras are present and the exhibitor stands display everything to do with motorsport. Falken tyres were there to raise awareness of the tyre brand and get people to visit their local Falken dealer.
The unique bright yellow bus worked very well at catching people’s eyes and drawing them over. The stand consisted of the bus with a couple of gazebos to keep back any rain where people could look at the tyres on display, including the new high performance FK452, pick up a product brochure or fill in a competition form to win a set of new tyres for their car or a lesson in the Falken sponsored drifting Nissan 200SX.
The Falken Nissan was on display and attracted many people to the stand. The bold and distinctive colours of the 200SX really stood out from other cars on display at the festival. The guys from the drifting academy who run the car were on hand to answer any questions.
On board the bus a computer was set up with the new Falken website, this was used to direct people to their local Falken dealer for quotes and fittings. The competition that has been running over both the Festival of Speed and Max Power Live show, had over 1000 more people entered, bring the total to over 2500 entries!
The aim of the stand at the Festival of Speed was to have a presence at such a renowned, esteemed event and this undoubtedly helped to raise the profile of Falken Tyres.
